1. General Provisions

All material component specifications cataloged on the Recycle Construction platform are verified against official Swiss KBOB LCA database standards. Reused building elements must comply with applicable Swiss and EU structural and fire safety building codes.

2. Quality & Condition Ratings

Condition scores (0–100) listed on salvaged donor items represent on-site structural audit assessments and 3D scan evaluations at the time of cataloging. Buyers and recipient engineers are responsible for final load-bearing calculations prior to re-installation.

3. Environmental & Carbon Calculation

Embodied carbon savings (CO₂ equivalent) are computed using KBOB benchmark factors for virgin material offset vs. deconstruction processing energy.
